David Huntley

Experienced coaches know it’s not about handing over their own wisdom, but helping clients find the keys to unlock their own.

David offers a rare combination of extensive executive management experience and a passion and care for individual growth. This has placed him in the privileged position of being able to work with senior leaders and teams both in the UK and internationally, drawn from a broad range of sectors. David sees his role as supporting them in their quest to realise their full potential.

Clients comment that they appreciate his well-honed listening capability, willingness to challenge their thinking and his strategic and commercial savvy.  When appropriate, this can result in stories to stimulate further dialogue or enhance learning and subsequent reflection.  David’s perspective on coaching has been informed and enriched by a wide-ranging international career, frequently involving the additional excitement and challenge of start-up, post-acquisition integration, business transformation or turnaround environments. This continues to be enhanced through Board Chair and Non-Executive Directorships.

With twelve years’ experience as a business coach, David thrives on and gains immense joy from bringing thought-provoking challenge to senior executives and teams.  He is committed to helping them improve their personal and organisational impact and effectiveness as part of contributing to overall business success.

David has completed eight marathons including all five world ‘majors’, cycled around Tasmania and Western Australia, from Land’s End to John O’Groats and the mighty Mont Ventoux. David plays keyboards in a dads’ band and a few years ago had the privilege to conduct the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.  Travelling is also a passion that extends to sampling great food and wine from around the world.
